It's sad that so many lives will be ruined or lost because his work will not be funded. He's done those amazing things and has the ability to do it for humans, not 20 years from now, but right now. It's not taking cells from a heart-beating baby still in the womb. It's from an embryo that doesn't have any organs, brain, nervous system, skin, or real tissue yet, just a bunch of divided cells(if I understood the article) that haven't formed into anything other than a bunch of cells looking like a blackberry; not a baby. It's a sad thing that people will not understand what the process really is and condemn it without knowing what they are condemning. Maybe one day the human species will get over itself and stop letting people go blind, deaf, be paralyzed, have diabetes, have AIDS, or crippled due to amputation because of pre-scientific theology.

We've now got enough irons in the fire and hopefully ways to bypass many of these objections. But it's just a shame that the research has been held up so long. We're living through a paradigm shift. People are going to look back at us and say, "They used to cut people's legs off." Then they'll just give an injection and the blood flow will be restored and the limb saved. If I were a patient and I knew I was going to have my leg cut off and something could be done, I would be demanding it. But most people, even most scientists, don't realize what we're capable of. I realize it because I'm doing the work and I can see what's possible before my eyes.

Those kids don't even know what the word creation means yet, probably! Kids need to learn facts at that age, not more fairy tales! I fear for the future of our world if we don't evolve past the need for religion... quickly. I mean, as it is children don't learn science in school anymore because the teachers have to spend all their time teaching the standardized tests, thanks to the No Child Left Behind Act. But, in reality, that leave every child behind... every other child in Europe, at least. Then, they want to compound the problem by using the 5 minutes the teachers devote to science per week into teaching fucking creationism? WTF?

It amazes me how US politicians seem to conveniently forget to mention certain bits of US history when beating their war drums. They talk about wanting to see a democratic government in Iran. Well, THEY HAD ONE. But, THE US HELPED TO DESTROY IT. The US is just pissed that the Islamic Revolution in Iran overthrew the Shah that we installed after we helped to overthrow the democratic government that was there. Members of Congress swear to defend the constitution against ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC and to execute all of their duties as written in the constitution. Therefore, it is their DUTY to impeach Bush and Cheney. Any Congressmen that does not work to bring impeachment charges is guilty of violation their oath of office, which means they should be impeached themselves. I hate to tell Pelosi, but the Constitution says that there is not taking impeachment "off the table." That is a violation of oath of office and she should be impeached herself.

This is just fucking ridiculous! If congress does not impeach before a new president takes office, it will set the most dangerous precedent in the nation's history. We will not be swearing in a president, we will be crowning a king!

What this means for us is that 9/11 was our Reichstag fire; the thing that started it all. I believe there is sufficient evidence that the US government executed 9/11. Therefore, they used that to make people afraid and feel they are being attacked and under constant threat of attack. Then they denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger when we illegally invaded Afghanistan and started an illegal undeclared war in Iraq. Now they are doing the same thing with Iran, Syria, and Pakistan. The government denounces the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. So, what has this brought us? Well, for starters the Constitution has been shredded, the Bill of Rights taken away, and an almost Orwellian police state instituted. If the Thought-Crime bill passes in the Senate, there is no doubt that Bush will sign it into law which will make this officially an Orwellian police state envisioned in the book 1984. What's scary to me is that this quote by Goering was read on the Senate floor as an opposition to Bush wanting to go to war... and the gave him authority anyway. Claim: Saddam Hussein will use weapons of mass destruction against us - he has already used them against his own people (the Kurds in 1988 in the village of Halabja).

Reality: It is far from certain that Iraq used chemical weapons against the Kurds. It may be accepted as conventional wisdom in these times, but back when it was first claimed there was great skepticism. The evidence is far from conclusive. A 1990 study by the Strategic Studies Institute of the U.S. Army War College cast great doubts on the claim that Iraq used chemical weapons on the Kurds. Following are the two gassing incidents as described in the report:

In September 1988, however - a month after the war (between Iran and Iraq) had ended - the State Department abruptly, and in what many viewed as a sensational manner, condemned Iraq for allegedly using chemicals against its Kurdish population. The incident cannot be understood without some background of Iraq's relations with the Kurds...throughout the war Iraq effectively faced two enemies - Iran and elements of its own Kurdish minority. Significant numbers of the Kurds had launched a revolt against Baghdad and in the process teamed up with Tehran. As soon as the war with Iran ended, Iraq announced its determination to crush the Kurdish insurrection. It sent Republican Guards to the Kurdish area, and in the course of the operation - according to the U.S. State Department - gas was used, with the result that numerous Kurdish civilians were killed. The Iraqi government denied that any such gassing had occurred. The claim rests solely on testimony of the Kurds who had crossed the border into Turkey, where they were interviewed by staffers of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee...

It appears that in seeking to punish Iraq, the Congress was influenced by another incident that occurred five months earlier in another Iraqi-Kurdish city, Halabjah. In March 1988, the Kurds at Halabjah were bombarded with chemical weapons, producing many deaths. Photographs of the Kurdish victims were widely disseminated in the international media. Iraq was blamed for the Halabjah attack, even though it was subsequently brought out that Iran too had used chemicals in this operation and it seemed likely that it was the Iranian bombardment that had actually killed the Kurds.

Reality: The administration has claimed that some Al-Qaeda elements have been present in Northern Iraq. This is territory controlled by the Kurds - who are our allies - and is patrolled by U.S. and British fighter aircraft. Moreover, dozens of countries - including Iran and the United States - are said to have al-Qaeda members on their territory. Of the other terrorists allegedly harbored by Iraq, all are affiliated with Palestinian causes and do not attack the United States.

Claim: President Bush said in his speech on 7 October 2002: ' Many people have asked how close Saddam Hussein is to developing a nuclear weapon. Well, we don't know exactly, and that's the problem...'

Well, welcome to the police state! I hope you have read 1984 cause that will give you an idea of what we are now living in! HR1955 passed the house in a vote of 404-6! I am convinced this is one of those bills where they looked at the name and voted for it because it sounded important. The title of this is Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007. The full text of the bill is here(from the Library of Congress). You can see why they would vote for it even if they haven't read it: it looks good on their record(in their minds). The problem with this bill is not what's IN the bill, but what's NOT IN the bill: specifics. The language of the bill is WAY too vague. It is so vague that, if they wished, you could be called a terrorist simply for saying or writing "I don't agree with this war" or anything else. It leaves plenty of room to allow vocal and written dissent of any magnitude to be labeled as terrorism. Now, I'm all for violent people being locked up, but when you can't even voice your opinion because of "terrorism prevention", that is just fucking nuts! Also, this is in DIRECT violation of the Bill of Rights. The Constitution places limits on what the government can do. They have to work within those limits to do whatever it is they have to do. If they need to keep an eye on people to prevent violence they have to do it within the limits of the Constitution. This means that according to the Constitution, every congressman that voted FOR this must be removed from office due to violation of oath of office and treason. They swore to uphold the constitution and this directly contradicts the Bill of Rights. What part of "Congress shall make no law..." do they not understand? This is also a betrayal of the trust of the american people.
When I read 1984 years ago, I never dreamed that I would see it become reality. What's next, TeleScreens? Thought police? They just passed a thought crime bill. Why not?

I have a few good reasons to say this "terrorism crisis" is all bullshit. First is Norway. That country has more liberty, is cleaner, and more humane than the US has ever been. Do they get mysteriously attacked and are paranoid about the muslim boogeymen? NO! There are many other countries: Iceland, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Canada to name a few. They all are great countries, but are they paranoid about terrorists? NO! If "terrorists" attacked countries(which is what Bush says was the reason for 9/11) because of freedom and prosperity, those countries would all be toast. So, BushCo's reasoning is bullshit. That must mean there are other reasons. If, and that is a huge miraculous IF, ANY of the "terrorist" attacks on the US in its history have been genuine attacks from radical groups NOT AIDED IN ANY WAY BY THE US GOVERNMENT, what would their reasoning be? Well, maybe it's because we force our presence where it is not wanted or needed. Think about it. If any other nation had a nuclear arsenal the size of the US arsenal and started threatening us and started building permanent military bases on our land and started attacking us and then would never leave and then violently overthrow our government, bomb our cities, and kill a million civilians, then steal our oil to make money, don't you think many citizens would be just a little pissed? Plus, there are some fucking psycho people in this country! Don't you think they would fight back and do whatever they could to get those bases and people off our land for good?

So all that must lead us to the conclusion that we are fucking up royally somehow. It won't help to initiate a police state where there is thought crime, which is what this bill does: it allows for thought crime. If Ron Paul or any of the Democrat candidates(excluding Clinton) don't get elected in November, you better hurry and leave this shit-hole police state while you can still get out and move to Canada or Europe. And will someone please bitch-slap Congress into realizing that people don't want their freedom taken away at the expense of Congress looking like it's being tough on a non-existent enemy so they think they can get reelected?

Talk to some teachers and see if they don't tell you that the kids they teach are any better off. They can't teach anything of use in their lives because they have to teach shit for the standardized tests.
But, who is to really blame if kids don't learn?
Is it the teachers? Well, sometimes. I had some teachers growing up that spoke ebonics and couldn't speak understandable English. I had some teachers that their grammar was worse than mine... AND THEY WERE MY TEACHERS! I had some teachers that didn't know their subjects very well. I had some that knew the subjects but simply had no talent for teaching. I think teacher testing and interviews should weed out most of that.
Is it the parents? Well, if you wonder why children can't speak properly, it is usually the parents. If the kids can't think for themselves, it is usually the parents. Lazy parents just keep the kid alive until they go to school and then expect the school to do the rest and don't follow through with homework or anything at home. So, it's partially the parents.
Is it the kids? I would say a good part of the problem is the kids. Did the people who came up with this law even take into consideration that maybe, just maybe, that some kids just don't give a shit? I mean, when I was a kid I didn't give a shit. I really didn't. I hated school. All I wanted to achieve was to get to the next grade, no matter how close of a call it was. So, do you think any amount of testing would make me do better in school? Fuck no! It made me hate school worse. It was bad enough when I was in grade school in the 80's. I can't imagine it now. Those poor kids. They aren't being taught anything but the standardized tests, then they have to take the tests which turns them off even more, then people expect them to be well educated and have the ability to think? What the fuck are those lawmakers thinking? They haven't been in grade school since the fucking 60's and they think they can know how to make school laws without even studying what parents and children think!

Repeal the NCLB Act and stop all that unnecessary standardized testing and let the fucking teachers do their jobs! We're raising a generation of kids that don't know how to think!

I call this the snowball-lie. A single lie turns into this giant mess.
First on the lie list was 9/11. A couple of hours after the attacks the gov said that Bin-laden did it. Anybody who has lived here for more than a day knows that the government does not work that fast... EVER. They had no time to analyze anything or collect evidence of any kind in that short amount of time. So, beyond all of the other evidence that our government created 9/11, Bin-laden didn't do it. That brings us to...

Bin-laden has worked for the CIA for YEARS. He has been paid by the CIA since the 80's to start trouble where they want and be their whipping-boy. That's not a hypothesis. It is fact. There are many news stories from reputable news agencies that have showed that he was paid by the CIA more than once.

Now, having established that, what does that have to do with the repubs and scaring people?
9/11 was used to scare the US citizens to gain public support for Bush invading Iraq. Bush had been planning to invade Iraq from his first month in office - January 2001... eight months before 9/11. That was told by more than one of his former officials. In order to keep people afraid enough to support the war and giving up our freedoms, we have been put under this bombardment of fear for seven years.

Now, all of these repubs running for president are playing the terror card to scare you into voting for them.

Terrorism is defined to be acts that aim to cause change in government or people's lives by using fear. If that's the case, the "terrorists" have won. Our government has reacted to the attacks in a manner that terrorists would want. They have made the nation afraid. They have altered our daily lives beyond recognition. They have taken away our freedoms. They have ruined our economy. But remember the point above: this was done to us by our own government in the first place.

So what does that lead us to? THERE IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF. There is no boogy-man out there trying to get us. To put this statistically, you have a better chance of dying in your car than dying in a "terrorist" attack. Your chance of dying in a terrorist attack is still statistically ZERO. More people die in car wrecks EACH YEAR than all people in all "terrorist" attacks in history combined! Now, if you want to stop massive amounts of people dying, WORK ON AUTOMOBILE SAFETY. There is no way to be safe from other people. We can't be safe from our own government. I personally think there is sufficient evidence to prove that all terrorist attacks on US soil were carried out or were made to happen by our own government. The sinking of the Lusitania, Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, the first WTC bombing in the early 90's, Oklahoma City bombing, and 9/11(all being the major ones) were all caused by our own government. I think that the evidence available to people is sufficient to say that.

So, am I afraid of some dusty muslims running around in caves and the deserts of the middle east that the repubs are telling us are out to get us? Nope. I'm not sure that such a big threat even exists. A few people have said Bin-laden has been dead since 2002. There is also a hypothesis that Al-Qaeda is simply a made up organization that the governments use to blame shit on. That would make sense and explain many things.

One thing I do admire about him is his message of hope that he brings to people. He wants the people to have a voice again. He wants this to be a government OF, BY, and FOR the people again. I listened to his victory speech from Iowa and I thought it was simply wonderful. He brings a fresh image to the presidential race. He is a younger(read not middle aged) black candidate with a muslim name. I never thought that would happen. What makes me so comfortable with the idea of him as president is that he reminds me of those very rare bosses people have that project the image of "I don't consider myself your BOSS, I consider my position one where I work for you" which is WHAT THE PRESIDENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. Like I said, he is younger than the other candidates, but he still seems wise in his positions on issues. He wants to restore the USA's image to where it once was: one of hope, unity, prosperity, and opportunity. He sees the evils that the Bush administration has done and how americans have lost all sense of trust in their government. Usually, in my very humble opinion, the best speakers win the election. Have you heard this guy speak? He's wonderful! His speech last night was one of hope. It was a very empowering speech. He wants to make this country better for the people and not the corporations. His speech was not "I will do this, that, and the other. Me me me me me me me." It was "I have heard what you want. Elect me and I will give you hope of a better country that is YOUR country. You have the power to change, I'll just be the instrument." That's the basics of what I got out of it, I guess. It's early in the morning so I might have not made sense there. I'll give you an example. If you have US currency in your possession, then you are owned. If you watch TV, you are owned. Alcohol, drugs, iPods, video games: they all serve one purpose for us today and that is to keep us sedate, happy, unaware, and uncaring about who is REALLY in control of our lives at this very moment. International bankers, politicians (from families with histories of power and corruption), and mega-business owners are the ones in control.
I know I'm not making any sense right now. I just watched a documentary called Zeitgeist. I've included it below. After watching it and thinking about what it showed, I am so pissed I can't organize my thoughts in an orderly fashion. All I can tell you is that there are some evil people in the governments and major businesses that control everything. History has repeated itself and is doing so as I write this.
First this documentary shows that xianity is simply another rehashing of the same astrological theology used over the past 5000 years. That's right, it's nothing but simple ATROLOGY given personifications. If you look at the actual ASTRONOMY, the ASTROLOGY part is easily explained. The documentary's explanation is too perfect so you'll have to watch it yourself. Don't worry, that's the first part of the movie.
There are two other sections in the movie dealing with false flag operations such as:
The Lusitania - Sunk on purpose to get us into WWI
Pearl Harbor - Purposely provoked to get us into WWII
Gulf of Tonkin Incident - Lie to get us into Vietnam
9/11 - by the US government to get support to get us into Afghanistan and Iraq.
The point to all of those was to make the big businesses more profits. The biggest business profiting is the Federal Reserve. It is a private bank corporation. It is NOT associated with the government in any way. It is explained beautifully in the movie.
Stop watching FOX news, CNN, NBC, etc because they only show what they are told. Look things up for yourself! QUESTION EVERYTHING!
Religion and patriotism are things to keep you under control! Be a human being and not a robot or eventually that is all we will be: robots composed of flesh. And if you think I'm nuts, just watch the damn documentary! It explains things much better than I do. If I could write well, I would have been an English or Journalism major!

It never fails: every year at this time I get a hundred emails and I see a hundred signs and ads telling me to remember the "true" reason for the season. Of course, all of those are xian. I wonder if they know they are telling me to remember the winter solstice or the multitude of other deities that people had hundreds or thousands of years before their jesus existed. But, that is what happens when people follow blindly as they are told and do not question what they are told. In case you are wondering, I am using lower-case letters on purpose for names of deities since they are of no significance to me.

Why do I even bother with this? Well, because I am constantly bombarded with religion day after day and am expected to accept it as fact and simply part of life. I care because that way of thinking affects my life. So, when I have a chance to disprove a part of that, I relish the experience. But, I hate the hypocrisy that everybody can bombard me with their xian beliefs in as many ways as they can, but if I simply state facts, then I am attacking their beliefs and am forcing my "beliefs"(read facts) upon them, yet I go through most of my days doing nothing about their open displays of delusion.

The first thing I wanted you to read is this explanation of archetypes. After you read this you should have a better background for exploring the other deities.

This first page is a simple chart comparing similar deities with jesus. This shows that jesus was not an original delusion, but a mutt of other deities. Most of those are centuries or thousands of years before jesus.

This second page gives more descriptions of those deities and their similarities to the jesus delusion.

Those religions as well as many others use the date of December 25 as a special date. Indeed, it is special as that date was used because it is around the time of the winter solstice. Most of our xmas traditions come from old celebrations of the winter solstice. There are two great pages that describe this here and here.

If you simply look at it, there are many explanations for the xian story. First, if you say that jesus was a real person or based on a real person, then you can explain the virgin birth pretty easily: Mary knew about the old traditions of virgin birth and was knocked up by Joseph before they got married. Fearing her family would kill her for premarital sex, she started telling people that she was knocked up by a spirit. I don't guess that anybody would've just checked to see if her hymen was intact while she was pregnant to prove her story. Doesn't that seem a little more logical? Now, if you think that the hypothesis that the entire new testament was written during the councils at Nicea, then this is simply a retelling of the same boring story told for thousands of years using different names and places. I personally think the latter is more logical.

Another reason to not believe the December 25th story is that IF YOU BOTHER TO READ THE BIBLE'S STORY, you would know that shepherds would NOT be out herding flocks at night during late December in the desert. Why? They would freeze! Their animals would freeze! It gets cold at night in the desert! So guess what? The more likely time for the story would be in the summer! Guess what else? December 25th was chosen by the church! There is not one single mention of December in the story!

So, these characteristics were attributed to other deities and reasons beginning 3,000 years BEFORE the jesus delusion existed.

So, if you must, keep your delusion. But please stop bombarding me with that delusion during this time of year.

The story goes like this:
Two weeks after the Bush administration took office in 2001 they started planning a highly illegal wiretapping program through the phone and internet companies. When Qwest was asked to be a part of this, they said no. People found out about that and now there are 30+ lawsuits against the telecom companies for illegal spying which is a major violation in the Bill of Rights. So, IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE COMPANIES and NOT OUR FREEDOM, the Bush administration wanted the telecom companies granted retroactive immunity for their illegal spying. In the Constitution is clearly states that NO ex post facto law(retroactive immunity, in other words) shall be passed. So, what does the House and Senate do? They both introduce legislation in the FISA renewal bills to grant retroactive immunity to the telecom companies. Now, that is treason by the Bush administration and pretty much any elected official that introduces that clause or votes for it. But, who's counting? Anyway, republicans and democrats both passed it in the House(chickenshits) because they would have that negative press from the Bush administration and other republicans calling them soft of national security. So, the senate deals with it. Senator Chris Dodd stood up to protect our freedom and put a hold on the bill. Well, yesterday the DEMOCRAT leader in the Senate, Harry Reid, ignored that hold(illegal move?) and brought it to the floor to vote. Now, why a Democrat would bring this to the floor when another democrat has a hold on this is beyond me, but it happened anyway. Senator Dodd vowed to filibuster if that happened. Well, in order to protect our privacy and freedom from illegal spying, Senator Dodd came back from his presidential campaign tour in Iowa to Washington for the sole purpose of filibustering this vote. So, yesterday when it was Senator Dodd's time to talk, he gave his reasons and vowed not to yield the floor until the vote was canceled. That's what a filibuster is, for those that don't know; refusing to yield the floor until the others cry "uncle!" and do what you want. Well, 10+ hours later, Reid canceled the vote until Congress reconvenes next month. So, we all owe Senator Chris Dodd a HUGE "thank you!" I can't imagine standing there talking for 10+ hours straight. There were other senators that voted with him, but nobody else had the backbone to stand there for 10+ hours.

I love it to death when stupid ass xians start talking all kinds of shit about how this is a xian nation and how the nation's founding fathers were xian. I love proving them wrong and making them look like the delusional sheeple they are. There are a few facts they easily forget to check before orally defecating about this topic:
1. Check the first amendment to the constitution(taken from the National Archives:
Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

That says this nation does NOT endorse ANY religion. It as clear as can be.

2. Not all of the founders of this nation were xian. Thomas Jefferson was NOT a xian. He was a deist. BIG difference. A deist says that a deity made the universe but then left it to run on its own. No xianity in that at all.

3. The Treaty of Tripoli, Article 11 clearly states:

As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,-as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,-and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

Now, as that plainly states, this is NOT a xian nation. There is no Church of The United States of America. Many citizens may be xian, but the government is not. That treaty was signed by President Adams and ratified UNANIMOUSLY by the Senate. That's right, UNANIMOUSLY. Needless to say, that hasn't happened many times. Also, the full text of the treaty was published in many newspapers throughout the nation a there was no public bitching about it at all. So, at a time when xianity was as commonplace as breathing, the citizens of the country had no problem with it. Also, the Senate and President of the time had no problem with it.

4. In my opinion Abraham Lincoln was the best President this nation ever had. We could use another Lincoln. Most people in this nation would agree with that. But wait, he wasn't a xian either! That's right! The man who held this nation together and got it through the civil war and who freed the slaves was NOT a xian!

While I am NOT sympathetic to x-ians getting canned for their moral fiber, I do hate injustice in any form. Of course, this is another case of a x-ian throwing in the persecuted x-ian card. However, despite that argument, this is really about this cop getting fired for doing his job. Literally. He was protecting and serving. Basically, this old frail man was smacking his woman around. So, the po-po show up to arrest him. Okay. This old man was going to his car carrying his keys and a cup of coffee. Ooooh, dangerous. Out of nowhere, this cop's partner tackles this old man and asks this cop to taser this old frail man, who was not resisting arrest in any way. Well, this cop wouldn't do it. It was not just against his moral fiber religiously, but also he was thinking about the US constitution, and THE DEPARTMENTS OWN REGULATIONS. That's right, he was following the rules of his own department! He didn't believe in excessive force! What a concept! Finally a cop that does the right thing and he gets fired for it! Cheers to the cop and a big 'FUCK YOU' to the police department he worked for!

Then they go home to their family and friends and talk and sing about the "real" reason for the season which is their beloved baby jesus. Well, fuck baby jesus! Why? Because the story of baby jesus isn't even original! That's right! The most beloved story in all of christianity isn't original! Here is one MAJOR reason: The Egyptian god Horus. The stories of Horus and jesus are almost identical and Horus' story was centuries before the supposed baby jesus existed!

Also, if you read your fucking bible, the circumstances described in the x-mas stories show that he would've been born in Summer and nowhere in the bible does it mention December or December 25. Okay, for those who don't get it, here is the deal. ID supporters call evolution just a theory and ID is another theory and should be given just as much credibility. ID is simply creationism without naming the deity who did the creating. They did this to get past the separation of church and state laws and get creationist ideas taught in school science classes. Science is a method to find truth in the natural world. It is a method that weeds out ideas for which there is no evidence. It involves a hypothesis, experimentation, observation, documenting the results, and must be able to be repeated. Now, ID supporters play on the average person's stupidity using the word theory. What they SHOULD use is hypothesis for what they mean to say. But they can't. A hypothesis is simply a statement of an idea about how something works or an observation. A hypothesis would be: The sky is green. Okay, so experiment and go outside and see if the sky is really green. Not green, is it? So you document your finding and others can repeat your experiment. You find that the sky is blue. Others can read your work and verify that the sky is really blue.
Now a THEORY is a hypothesis that has been experimented upon, supported with evidence, and results verified, over and over again. Can you call ID a theory? Fuck no! It's not science! ID is simply a hypothesis with NO EVIDENCE and cannot be observed! It is a hypothesis!
Is evolution a theory! Yes! That is science. It has been observed, documented, and there are tons of evidence to support it.
So why not call it a law? Well, a law has to be proven to be correct in all cases. Like the Newton's laws of gravity or motion. Proofs have been written for those that prove the theory for all cases of possibility. So if evolution is the answer then why not call it a law? Well, the term law isn't thrown around easily. Many of the "laws" of science have mathematical proofs or other kinds of proofs. I'm not good at explaining it so if you need further clarification of what constitutes a law of science, expand your mind and read a book about it. But the point is the term law isn't given to many things. Some are trying to give evolution law status, but it is not easy. A true scientific theory must be supported by evidence of some kind, observable, and able to be reproduced. You can basically substitute the word "fact" for theory in most cases to get a clearer picture. ID has no evidence, no observation. It is not, therefore, a scientific theory. It is a hypothesis, just like saying the sky is green.

Does this surprise anybody? They don't include all the suicides caused by this war in the body count. If they did, here's how it would look. The article says that there were at least 6,256 suicides in 2005 alone. Add that to the field body count of just under 4000 and that's 10,000+ dead right there. If you take those numbers as a guide for last year, the dead US soldier count is well over 15,000 due to this illegal war. Many soldiers return home so mentally fucked that they can't handle living anymore. We don't provide the proper care for them. This makes me so sick. I'm not into US soldier hero worship like the government or the religious right wants us to be. I don't think that someone that doesn't graduate high school or go to college deserves to be treated as some kind of hero simply because he joins the fucking army because that is the only way he will ever be able to provide for his family. That was until Nixon, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, and W, all were in office. All those people fucked us up more than we will ever know. Anyway, even though I don't think the high-school/college drop-out soldier deserves my thanks simply because he is stupid enough to join the Army and get his ass blown up in the middle of the fucking desert, I do think that if the government sends them to get shot at and blown up that we at least provide for their health care when they get back. They sign up to do what the dictator says and our part of the deal is that they get health care paid for by the government. So far we have not lived up to that end and that is why we have all of these suicides. Again, don't thank a soldier for your freedom. You are as free as you allow yourself to be. If you don't like where you are... MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE! I plan to do that if it gets any worse. This is so simple. The idea put forth by the Bush administration is that there are these evil arabic people wanting to blow us up when we fly. So, the got the Transportation Security Administration(TSA) to increase security at airports. According to USA TODAY, last years reports by the TSA show that they failed to find fake bombs hidden on undercover agents between 60 and 70 percent of the time! The fake bombs were hidden in pretty obvious places to check. That means that those evil arabic people would have a GREATER than 60% chance of blowing up a plane if they simply TRIED. Now, what does this mean? Well, if you've ever studied logic, this is a classic example of Modus Tollens:
If there are evil arabs wanting to blow up planes and they have a greater than 60% chance, there will be planes blowing up.
There are no planes blowing up.
Therefore there are no evil arabs wanting to blow up planes even though they have over a 60% chance if they simply tried.

This one is about the last two fluent speakers of a certain indigenous language in Mexico are not speaking to each other anymore. The sad part is at the bottom of the article. It says that according to the UN, one language disappears across the world every two weeks. Some languages are very beautiful to hear. Latin is my favorite. There have already been books and statements from some former higher up in the Bush administration that Bush was planning an attack on Iraq in his very first national security meeting in January of 2001. But, until the citizens of this country get their heads out of their asses and grow some bollocks, politicians will never be really held accountable. Personally, I say screw this place. This country has become the poster child for the "seven deadly sins" from the judeo-christian bible. Let the evangelicals and religious fundies put this in their crack-pipe and smoke it. So, fuck this place. If I could immediately move where I wanted, I would move somewhere like Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, France, Hungary, or Romania. Countries like those fit my personality. In my humble opinion, car insurance is legalized extortion. The state says that you must pay for car insurance to be able to drive your car. Well, what if you can't afford to pay for it? Are you not supposed to be able to drive to work? If you can't drive to work then you can't earn money to pay the car insurance. If you can't afford to pay the car insurance then you can't drive to work. WTF?
So, we are being FORCED to pay all this money every single month to these private corporations that give us no value for our money unless our car gets damaged. Even then they usually try to cheat you and not pay or they will only pay part of what they should fully pay. They screw us twice!
1. We must pay them to drive our cars and get no value for our money unless the car is damaged.
2. They usually try to cheat you out of what you pay them for.
Tell me again how we are better off with this law?

Interesting idea. I have heard of something similar. I can't remember where, but farmers are being paid NOT to turn their land into farmland so that the land can provide fresh water. I personally love the concept. I think more places should do this.

Well, it's about damn time!
I think that if this actually gets to the floor that it will pass. Not many bills as controversial as this come with 21 cosponsors. To me that is significant. However, living in Alabama and having Republican Reps, I doubt any of ours would vote for this. But I've still emailed my rep telling him to get with the program. I really hope this passes!

Oh, this is good. I think every presidential candidate and every military general should read this and see the movie War Games and sign a statement that they fully understand the message that is presented. My only gripe with the article is that it fails to mention the biggest hypocrite of nukes: The United States of America. We have the largest stockpile of nukes on the planet and are the only ones to use them in war, yet we are the first to tell any other country to not touch anything nuclear; not even nuclear energy for electricity.
