It amazes me how US politicians seem to conveniently forget to mention certain bits of US history when beating their war drums. They talk about wanting to see a democratic government in Iran. Well, THEY HAD ONE. But, THE US HELPED TO DESTROY IT. The US is just pissed that the Islamic Revolution in Iran overthrew the Shah that we installed after we helped to overthrow the democratic government that was there. It's a shame that the most important parts of history that I learned were learned OUTSIDE of school.
